Ken McDonald is one of the most active and reasonably priced 18hole
par 72 championship golf courses in the metropolitan Phoenix area
with a full service restaurant and bar.
Location: West of Rural Road, north of Elliot and south of Guadalupe.
The golf course entrance is behind the YMCA building on Rural Road.
Tee Times seven days in advance. Reservations can be made by phone
or through
the website.

The golf course was built in 1974 and designed by the famous local
architect Jack Snyder.
Services include professional golf instruction, club fitting, club
repairs and special event planning.

Local
Rules:
- Staked Trees: If a tree interferes with a player's stance or
swing, relief may be taken. Ball shall be dropped within one club
length of nearest point of relief no nearer the hole
- Out of bounds defined by property fences or white stakes
- Ball striking wire on #11 must be replayed
- You may take nearest relief from French drains
- The water's edge defines the hazard except where marked by stakes.
Red is a lateral hazard. Yellow is a water hazard.
- Inside retaining wall at clubhouse is out of bounds
- All railroad ties are an integral part of the golf course. No
relief may be taken
- Maintenance road on #3 is an integral part of the golf course.
No relief may be taken
The management has the right to refuse service or revoke playing privileges
to anyone who violates the course rules or the accepted rules of golf
etiquette.
- USGA and local rules govern all play
- Observe golf etiquette so that all players may enjoy the game
- Please repair ball marks and rake bunkers
- No more than a foursome in one group
- Each player must have a bag of clubs before teeing off
- Observe speed of play: If your group is one clear hole behind,
you must allow following players to play through
- Arizona State law prohibits the consumption of alcoholic beverages
not purchased on the premises
- Beware of errant golf balls from course or driving range
- The City of Tempe is not responsible for injury to players or
equipment and reserves the right to eject any player from the
course for violation of the regulations.
